lpv:translated text	"An agreement on the criteria and mechanisms for establishing the state responsible for examining a request for asylum lodged in a Member State was concluded with Switzerland in 2004. This agreement provides for the possible association of Liechtenstein by means of a protocol. On 27 February 2006, the Council gave the Commission the relevant authorisation to enter into negotiations with Liechtenstein and Switzerland. On 21 June 2006, negotiations were finalised and the draft protocol on Liechtenstein’s accession to the Dublin agreement with Switzerland was initialled. Now it is up to Parliament to give its approval to the conclusion of this protocol. I believe that this should happen, so I am voting in favour of this recommendation."@en1
