"On a planet with what will soon be 9 billion inhabitants, food supply for the future is a key issue. This report focuses on this enormous challenge and asks several important questions, for example, in relation to the problem of land grabbing, and this is, of course, something that we support. At the same time, the report unfortunately contains demands for several joint measures – such as European nutrition, school milk and school fruit programmes, as well as an increased budget for these programmes – which we consider to be something that each Member State should decide on for itself. We therefore chose to abstain in the final vote."@en1
