lpv:spoken text	"I voted for this report on the work of the ACP-EU Joint Parliamentary Assembly in 2009. The strengthening of parliamentary oversight is vital to ensure that EU development funds are put to best use and contribute effectively to achieving the Millennium Development Goals. The assembly has played, and continues to play, a key role in monitoring the negotiations on Economic Partnership Agreements (EPAs), allowing MEPs to hear first hand the concerns of the ACP parliamentarians and thus contributing to greater European Parliament oversight of the Commission’s negotiations and implementation of EPAs."@en1
