The financing instrument for development cooperation (DCI) improves the European Union’s previous development cooperation framework by combining the various geographical and thematic instruments into a single instrument. In conjunction with the technical amendments related to the financing of the actions covered by the DCI, which aim at greater flexibility in the implementation of their projects and programmes, the mid-term review of this instrument provides an ideal occasion for adapting the DCI comitology procedure to the new comitology requirements."@en1
