The efforts indicated here have been consistent and have shown that Moldova is intent on staying on its path towards possible EU enlargement. Moldova will soon be holding elections, which will be a good test for measuring the degree of consolidation of its democratic culture, as well as its institutions. Despite all the positive items mentioned, there are still some questions that need to see some positive development, especially the issue of Transnistria, which may cause some type of instability.
