The ECR Group abstained, however, on the final vote due to fundamental concerns about the report. The ECR Group strongly and consistently opposes the further creation of any EU/gender agencies, further legislation at EU level on matters of domestic policy, and EU regulation in the areas of health, education, childcare and employment law. We consistently maintain that these policy issues are the sole responsibility of Member States and we oppose action at EU level."@en1
