It has to be said, however, that there were important issues in our own resolution that this resolution ignored. To take one example: the Group of the European People’s Party (Christian Democrats) wanted to recognise Israel’s right to exist within its internationally recognised and secure borders. Since this quite self-evident statement is not in the final resolution, I would like to ask why."@en1
