lpv:translated text	"I am delighted to inform Mr Alves and everyone that in 8 or 10 days time, a large-scale conference is going to be held on the outermost regions, sponsored by the Spanish Presidency. The President of Parliament has appointed me to speak along with Mr Durão Barroso, Mr Rodríguez Zapatero and the President of the government of the Canary Islands at the opening of the conference. I am definitely going to use the result of this debate and Mr Alves’s report as major sources of inspiration for the speech that I have to make then. The debate is closed.
