Given the wide-ranging and diverse implications that ‘delegated acts’ will have for legislative procedure, I believe that Parliament’s wish to apply specific and clear conditions to these delegated acts, in order to ensure that this House has real democratic control over them, is particularly commendable. I think that we will also need, in particular, to test in practice how this new system will work, in order to make any necessary changes to it."@en1
