I am convinced that implementation of such strategies can have a very positive influence on regional development and, as a consequence, can influence the lives of the region’s residents and improve their quality of life. For surely it is the residents of the European Union who are the objective of our action – of Parliament’s and the European Union’s action. This is why I voted in favour of adopting the resolution."@en1
