"I support the passing of the said resolution, which was born out of co-operation between four political groups. The document is balanced, and one could say this about it: better late than never. Actually, it is the most we can do in this House together in the name of justice.
We owe our parents and grandparents a firm parliamentary message, and that is what we have produced today. It is also, however, our obligation to prevent the recurrence of what we have discussed, using the funds at our disposal. Truth and memory have an important role in connection with this. Our duty is to ensure respect for the principles of the rule of law."@en1
