lpv:translated text	"Mr President, I join my fellow Members in applauding the magnificent work carried out by our rapporteur on the Committee on Budgets and the way in which he managed to fight for the rights and prerogatives of the European Parliament. In accordance with the Court of Justice judgment of 6 November 2008, the European Parliament has full codecision powers in this area. Furthermore, the European Investment Bank has a clear mandate to support sustainable economic and social development, the integration of developing countries into the world economy, the campaign against poverty, and compliance by these countries with the rule of law, human rights and fundamental rights. We will be here to ensure that the EIB’s investments pursue these objectives."@en1
