lpv:spoken text	"I could not support the Vatanen report on the role of NATO in the security of the EU. The report states that NATO forms the core of European security. I take a contrary view. I believe that Europe's security is enhanced by the EU's common foreign and security policy. NATO, however, remains a nuclear weapons-based alliance. I am totally opposed to nuclear weapons and my party is committed to removing nuclear weapons from Scottish soil when we achieve independence. An independent Scotland will not remain in NATO whilst it remains a nuclear alliance."@en1
