lpv:spoken text	"The targets set by the EU to reach a coordinated reduction are vital if there is to be corresponding change for the better in our environment. I voted to improve the structure of this coordination by use of a variety of sources – including the beneficial effects of safe nuclear energy production – all of which needs to be reviewed in the light of advice from national inspectorates and changes in technology. Given that funding is necessary I voted too in favour of ETS auctioning revenue to be used to meet the costs of any changes needed. This includes investment in new technology. An Emissions Trading Scheme for aviation, whilst it may have only a marginal effect, is still an appropriate way ahead."@en1
