lpv:translated text	"I voted for this report on trade and economic relations with the Western Balkans () as the motion for a European Parliament resolution also includes the opinion of the Committee on Foreign Affairs and that of the Committee on Regional Development of which I am a member. Economic growth and development in the Western Balkans region will provide the conditions for constructive partnerships with the EU’s eastern Member States, which ultimately includes Romania too. At the same time, linking the economic and trade policies of the countries in the Western Balkans to the European Union’s policy will support the stabilisation and association agreements signed between the EU and these countries. I voted in favour of this report because economic stability may also lead to political stability in this area, which has been particularly troubled over the years."@en1
