"− Every year, thousands of people are killed or injured on Europe’s roads. It is essential that action is taken by governments across Europe to ensure that road safety is taken seriously. At present, the issue of drivers escaping justice by ignoring traffic laws whilst driving in foreign countries exacerbates the already grim situation. Increased cooperation across the EU in the enforcement of speeding and drink-driving laws is to be commended, and I accordingly voted in favour of the Ayala Sender report."@en1
