lpv:spoken text	"Mr President, I also support and welcome very much this report, which refines the ETS system – and, yes, it does address the concerns about carbon leakage, particularly if there is no agreement in 2009 at a global level. Again, I want to mention the issue of forestry in this whole climate change era. We need a very strong voice at European level so that global deforestation is tackled. I welcome the fact that funds will be targeted at this, because at the moment, it is not being addressed: we are all concerned about it, but there is no coordinated action to address the issue. I have been to Brazil; I know what is happening there and in other countries, and if we do not address this, all our efforts here at EU level will be in vain."@en1
