lpv:spoken text	"The British Conservative delegation is supportive of a coordinated strategy, under the auspices of the UN, for resolution of the problems of Darfur and the neighbouring regions of eastern Chad and the Central African Republic, including humanitarian assistance and the protection of IDPs and refugees. However, it is opposed in principle to the very concept of an ‘ESDP operation’ and the unnecessary, wasteful and divisive effort by the EU to involve itself in military matters. We therefore voted against the resolution."@en1
