"Mr President, ladies and gentlemen, the US authorities have released the known terrorist Luis Posada Carriles, who has publicly admitted his guilt for the November 1997 attack which cost the life of Fabio Di Celmo, a European citizen. Carriles is known to have been responsible for the attack that cost the lives of 73 people on board a civil aircraft.
In the ruling setting him free, Judge Kathleen Cardone acknowledged Carriles’s part in some of the worst atrocities of the 20th century. Why, then, can such a terrorist walk free in the United States? We must protest against the Bush Administration, which has once again demonstrated double standards in the fight against terrorism."@en1
