lpv:translated text	"Ladies and gentlemen, Mr Solana said this morning in this House that our citizens want to see a coordinated EU foreign and security policy. I strongly agree; the people of Europe, including those from the new Member States, expect the EU to coordinate its foreign and security policy, even on issues such as deploying a US anti-missile defence system on EU territory. This system is not, however, a bilateral exercise between the USA and Poland or the Czech Republic, as some MEPs would have us believe. By its very nature, it concerns common foreign and security policy, relations within the EU, the EU’s relations with the USA, NATO and Russia, and various disarmament processes and processes for stopping the spread of weapons of mass destruction. I should therefore like to call on Mr Solana to provide Parliament with an analysis of all of these aspects and of ways of resolving these issues from the standpoint of the common foreign and security policy. It is my firm belief that this is exactly what our citizens expect of the High Representative for the Common Foreign and Security Policy."@en1
