"I would just like to respond to Mr Corbett. The interesting thing is that when you go to a restaurant or pub in the UK nowadays, the service you get is not in the Queen’s English. We Finns would find it very exciting to have 500 000 people speaking even a little bit of unusual Finnish.
I should firstly like to congratulate the Commission on its efforts in the area of free movement. Secondly, I would like to congratulate those Member States which have opened their borders to the free movement of labour from the new Member States. My question is simple and straightforward. What is the Commission going to do to keep up the pressure on all the old Member States to open up to the free movement of labour, just as the UK, Ireland, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Holland and a few others have already done?"@en1
