"I have a question for the Member of the Commission. The situation in Lithuania is similar to that in Poland. In our country, pharmaceuticals are often more expensive than in the old European Union Member States. For example, there is a paradox that on the other side of the Baltic Sea in Sweden, where living standards are significantly higher, pharmaceuticals are cheaper. Therefore, I would like to ask directly if the national governments are guilty that such a situation has come about, or if it is the influence of the European Union's activities, including the work of the European Commission and imperfections in legislation."@en1
