".
I voted against this report as I do not believe the final result offers the necessary clarity in a number of areas. It is not clear that we have removed the so-called country-of-origin principle: in fact, it is not clear what the applicable law will be for a company wanting to offer cross-border services on a temporary basis. It is also not clear where the dividing line is for services offered as a public service but by a private provider or sub-contractor. I welcome the removal of patient mobility from the directive - it should never have been included. In fact, the Commission's all-embracing proposal has been ill-considered and poorly thought through. I look forward to major amendments in their next proposal."@en1
