lpv:translated text	"Mr President, over the past few days, I have received questions from other groups about the wording of Amendment 2, which was tabled by my group. Moreover, a separate debate has been held, and a vote taken, on one aspect of this subject, namely the allegations of the existence of CIA camps in Romania and elsewhere, and also on the need for an inquiry into these allegations. I would therefore propose that, in this amendment, we confine ourselves to the position of this candidate Member State and any incorrect actions on its part. We can do this by adding ‘allegations of the existence’ to the English version and deleting ‘but also to undertake informal investigations’ from it. I assume that, in this way, the objections to the original text would be removed."@en1
