It seemed almost impossible to speak in this fine Chamber during the debate on the highly important REACH provision. The Union for Europe of the Nations Group has decided to vote in favour, because we are satisfied as regards the registration procedure and we wholly agree with the content of the regulation in connection with the OSOR principle. We do, however, have some concerns with regard to the procedure for authorisation. Nevertheless, we are generally in agreement regarding this project, and I should to thank the rapporteur, Mr Sacconi, for his commitment and for the work he has done."@en¹
