". I thank you very much for the ‘CARS 21’ Group. I understand I can go to Commissioner Verheugen and say that there is a request from the West Midlands that we should be there. I agree with you that we should be there to contribute and be aware of where we are going and to be able to contribute funds. Nobody is perfect, as we know. We all make mistakes. However, for the future, with the revitalised Lisbon approach, clearly we want to help, be innovative and contribute to the restructuring. I can tell you, using a Polish example, that restructuring in Poland came through SMEs, and the whole structural change in exports and imports also came through them. It is a good sector to support."@en1
