".
The June List has chosen to vote against the own-initiative report on health and safety at the workplace. This report deals with important issues, and the June List supports many of the basic ideas proposed. A good working environment is important for all employees.
The June List is of the opinion, however, that each Member State must be permitted to decide for itself how it wants to achieve a good working environment. As far as Sweden is concerned, for example, it is a matter for negotiation between the social partners, and not a matter for regulation by EU legislation."@en1
