"Thank you, Commissioner, for that answer. The point is that all those measures are perfectly valid and, as you explained, deal with all the different aspects of protecting intellectual property. The specific problem I tried to raise is whether the Commission will focus particularly on the area where Member States have fewer instruments to deal with this, showing what is behind the protection of intellectual property and raising awareness among citizens. This is probably one of the few cases where criminal codes are violated by citizens without them knowing that they are doing so, and even thinking that it is something positive to do. So what do you intend to do to show, through general campaigns or whatever, that this is a very important matter and that the future of the audiovisual industry in Europe is at stake?"@en1
