I applaud the report's recognition of the need to implement measures to encourage reporting of illegal content in addition to the assessment of the performance of filter technologies and the benchmarking of these technologies. Furthermore, I would like to reaffirm the magnitude of the Commission working in close-cooperation with Member States as it will ensure that the implementation of the Programme is complementary to other relevant Community policies, most notably the Community research and technological development programmes and the Daphne, eContent and Modinis programmes."@en1
