lpv:spoken text	"Mr President, I appeal to the House and to the President to take every action possible in order to try to bring to an end the human rights abuses in Iran. The Iranian regime has been perpetrating severe human rights abuses for far too long. I appeal to the President to express the protest of this House to the Iranian regime and call upon it to bring to an end these human rights abuses as soon as possible. There was a major gathering of Europe's Iranian community in Brussels on 21 March, and there were heartfelt calls from Iranian exiles for a change to the approach of the regime in Iran. Every MEP in this House should back Europe's Iranian community in demanding human rights and in demanding justice for Iranians."@en1
