"Ladies and gentlemen, I would appeal to you not to begin debating this issue. A Spanish Member of this House has asked for the floor. I am also a Spanish Member of the House but, as President, I have tried to keep calm and will do so. I listened to Mr Gorostiaga carefully for more than three minutes, without interrupting him, but I must tell you that I also feel indignant, because it is quite clear to all of us that Mr Gorostiaga does not condemn these attacks – do not worry, Mr Gorostiaga, you will have the floor – and what is more, he used to belong to an organisation that was, to put it politely, disbanded by the authorities of the democratic and lawful state, because of its links with a terrorist organisation. I will say no more, but this must be included in the Minutes. As a Spanish Member of this House, I take responsibility for my own words. I would ask my fellow Member from Spain to leave the floor because this is the wrong type of debate for speeches like his. Mr Gorostiaga now has 15 or 20 seconds to say whatever he sees fit, even though he has taken it upon himself to point his finger at people who are not present in the Chamber."@en1
