"Mr President, I too should like to call on you to make a declaration, a declaration not merely of condolence or regret, but of condemnation of the slaughter of the journalists who have spent all this time, at great personal risk, covering the crime against the Iraqi people and mankind as a whole, the savageness of which is unprecedented. It is clear from the attack both on the Palestine Hotel where journalists accredited with Baghdad were staying and which had been declared on all sides and protected as their place of residence, and on the Al Jazeera and Abu Dhabi channels, which are ruining the Americans' misinformation, that they are the Americans' deliberate and premeditated target. Their objective is to block any information about the crime they continue to perpetrate there. So I ask, Mr President, not just for a declaration by you but for us all to demand that the criminal invaders leave Iraq. Enough is enough. This crime against humanity has gone far enough."@en1
