That is a matter for the Committee on Constitutional Affairs to deal with. The reason we have a reference here is to try to take a decision as to whether, under the proposal from the Commission, the funding should be moved to Parliament's budget or not. I do not think it should be moved to Parliament's budget, in the interests of transparency and accountability and also because it has cost implications. It is important that we leave it in the Commission's budget. Therefore I suggest that we support Amendment No 8 as it stands."@en1
