"Mr President, I would like to inform the House of an extremely serious incident which took place last Friday in Italy, in the town of Verona to be precise. Thirty or so members of a neo-nazi organisation burst into a local television studio where a debate was being held and brutally attacked a representative of an Islamic community. The fact that this person was expressing very dubious, extremely provocative views did not, of course, prevent all the democratic groupings from condemning this very disturbing incident. The most worrying thing of all, however, Mr President, is that a Member of this House, Mr Borghezio, a member of the not only justified the act but said that he was in favour of this kind of behaviour. You will understand, Mr President, that, henceforth, it will be extremely difficult for me to stay in this House if Mr Borghezio takes the floor."@en1
