I notice that there is no scheduled discussion of the situation in Zimbabwe. The situation there is worsening day by day. We have had the very distressing situation of Mr Mugabe appearing at the UN World Food Conference in Rome in spite of an EU travel ban. What is the European Union doing about the situation in Zimbabwe? Can I ask the Presidency-in-Office to ensure that this matter is discussed at Seville and included in the Presidency conclusions there, so that the international community is seen to be taking effective and robust action against this disgraceful regime in southern Africa?"@en1
