"On behalf of my group, I should like to inform you as to why we have voted against the report. First of all, because of the poor quality of the report. It is a very confused report and it is very difficult to make sense of it. A second reason is that religion, fundamentalism and the violation of human rights are lumped together, which is unacceptable to us. A third reason is that the European Union is given a number of inappropriate assignments, including the setting up of a free university for women. In fact, we do not want a separate university for women; we want co-educational universities. These are the reasons why we have voted against the report."@en1
