"Mr President, I voted for the report by Mr Nobilia, which is concerned with increasing employment in Europe. How could I not have done so? I must stress, however, that to achieve this result it would be important to set up a single European Internet site that gathered together all job requests and offers from all 15 States in the Union. It would be essential to have a single European second language, because one cannot move about in the European Union without knowing at least one language in common with all other Europeans, in addition to one’s own language, and lastly one cannot move freely if there is not a single European pension. You cannot have 15 different pension contributions, paid by 15 different European countries if you have worked in all 15 Member States. We must have a single European pension."@en1
