lpv:translated text	"Madam President, last week, those of us in the Group of the European Liberal, Democrat and Reform Party were agreed that there is only one urgent subject that ought to be dealt with in Parliament in this plenary sitting, and that is international terrorism and the need to build an international coalition to combat this. Unfortunately, we were unable to get anywhere with that point of view last week in the Conference of Presidents, and that is something we regret. We shall naturally participate in this vote. I requested the floor in order simply to emphasise that those of us in the ELDR Group think we should have focused our energies on the one urgent subject which we are all thinking about and which will cast its shadow for many years to come."@en1
