". The European Council directive claims to grant additional rights to the workers of European companies. These so-called rights are simply the participation of workers’ representatives in ‘the SE’s administrative or supervisory body’. Even by taking Parliament’s amendments into account, these minority representatives will not be able to influence any decisions. Furthermore, the legislator wants to ban them and even their freedom of expression with fellow workers by imposing a confidentiality clause on them. As a result, these representatives are only summoned when required to approve their employers’ policy or to be silenced. We refuse to approve this farce. That is why we abstained from voting on this text."@en1
