Two years later, in July 2000, these six states signed the Framework Agreement on measures to facilitate structural change in the European defence industry and the ways in which it operates. The honourable Member of Parliament raises the issue of what has been achieved as regards the Declaration Of Intent and the Framework Agreement. The Council has role to play in the cooperation that has been established between the six states and is therefore in a position to be able to provide direct information concerning the situation and what has been achieved in this area."@en1
