The reality is that in Chechnya itself we are working with 170 000 internally displaced people, the same number in Ossetia and the small number of 20 000 in Daghestan. We are directing our assistance to areas with the largest concentration of people in need. Finding the right channels to do that is not very easy. It should be noted that the Commission, through ECHO, is by far the largest provider of humanitarian aid in this conflict."@en1
