"Mr President, last night I had a dream which I can still remember (fortunately for I usually forget what I dream). There was a large crowd of pensioners and elderly people and they said to me: "Mr Fatuzzo, we were not able to vote for your Pensioners' Party because, as you see, we are here in the afterlife. Life is not bad here, but we would like to warn you that, tomorrow morning, Parliament will be voting on a report – the Rocard report – which contains an amendment tabled by yourself, Mr Fatuzzo, worded: ‘calls upon the Commission to ensure that all necessary medical treatment and care is guaranteed to the elderly also’. If this amendment had been adopted earlier, we would still be alive to vote for you." I was therefore very happy to vote for the report."@en1
