It is clear beyond doubt from the report by the European observers that human rights have been violated and that the basic democratic procedures which are the central tenet of the European Union’s creed have been breached. The European Union must not allow this sort of conduct and the elections in Himara should be held again. Otherwise, we will be turning a blind eye to basic human rights issues and violations of minority rights."@en1
