"The main features of the text which has been debated today by the European Parliament are also to be found in a proposal which was presented by Mrs Lalumière in May to the Committee on Foreign Affairs, Human Rights, Common Security and Defence Policy and which was voted on in June. In accordance with the ordinary way in which matters are debated, the issue will again come up for debate at one or other of the European Parliament’s part-sessions this autumn.
I find this duplicated work peculiar and difficult to understand. I have therefore chosen categorically to abstain in all votes on this subject, which is so important and fundamental to a non-aligned country like Sweden, blessed with peace since 1814."@en1
