The resolution says nothing about the need to give priority to sustainable development and the integration of environmental issues into all the policy areas of the Community. 2. The resolution does not repudiate militarisation of the EU and does not acknowledge that every military operation must have a UN mandate. 3. Nor does the resolution make it clear that the Charter of Fundamental Rights must not come into conflict with other international conventions or with the International Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg. 4.
