I voted for the motion and the result is successful, but I would like to know how much longer we will have to wait before Parliament votes for interest and compensation to be paid in cases where governments delay pension payments? There are delays in pension payments in all 15 of the Member States. And why should citizens who receive late payment from public bodies not also receive compensation of 7%?
