lpv:spoken text	"I voted in favour of the report on promotional measures for agricultural products today. It is imperative that we promote local products on the world stage, and I am glad to see that there will be GBP[nbsp ]165[nbsp ]million allocated to this programme in the coming years. The Scottish food and farming industry has a reputation for quality that is well deserved. We need to ensure that we are doing all we can to boost Scottish firms overseas to help create more jobs right here at home. This scheme will give local producers extra funding to boost their exports and win over thousands of new customers around the world. Our place in Britain and in Europe means that Scottish businesses are in line to benefit from the big increase in this support. I will now be working with more food and drink producers in Scotland to encourage them to apply for protected status and for European funding."@en1
