lpv:translated text	"I voted in favour of this report as I believe that the geographical indications of the goods produced by both parties must be protected. This report presents the agreement relating to the bilateral negotiations that took place in April 2011 and aims to promote respect for local, good-quality production by both parties in agricultural and food trade. Geographical indications are tools for protecting and recognising traditional agricultural practices that enable producers to add value to their produce by respecting quality. Recognising these indications is therefore essential in order to recognise good practice by farmers. For these reasons I supported the adoption of this report."@en1
