lpv:spoken text	"I voted for the report on the General Fisheries Commission for the Mediterranean (GFCM) Agreement Area. The present proposal for a regulation is simply intended to transpose various recommendations adopted by the GFCM, and already in effect in the GFCM’s contracting States, into a single Community legislative act into which future recommendations can be incorporated by way of amendments to that act. This would mark an important step towards simplification, given that up to now, the European Community has only adopted annual regulations for the purpose of adapting and updating the existing rules."@en1
