In order for independent producers to be in a position to retain their producer's rights and in order to be able to secure more easily for them the safeguarding of intellectual property rights and thereby strengthen the possibility of attracting investment from private investors, do you agree that the Commission and the Council should take the relevant steps? As far as I know, no such thing has happened to date and Community directives offer no such guarantee. Do you at least have some sort of plan in this direction?"@en1
